Snowballs in Dappled Shade

My maternal grandmother had one of these large shrubs at the corner of her house.






Every Spring, we would stand beside it because she wanted photos of us with it.  'Kind of like our growth chart, I guess.


Most of the year, it's a wonderful nesting spot for native birds.


The snowball blossoms don't last long, but aren't they spectacular?   This large bush is a member of the Viburnum family.  I have no idea which hybrid I have.  It was a passalong gift.
