This hasn't been the year for capturing hummingbird photos.  The ruffled feathers in the above shot make me smile though.  We all have days when our feathers get ruffled, right?

This is my tallest daylily. 

Handsome Husband noticed this beauty right before I lit some insect repellent.  He advised me not to and then pointed out why.

  I like bees' butts and I cannot lie.

Last year, a packet of mixed Hollyhock seeds was planted.

  These small blossoms are slightly fragrant.

Silent Sunday

These beauties prefer being planted in a shady spot.  Pollinators love visiting the tiny trumpets.
