Armadillos at Petit Jean State Park

It always makes me laugh when locals call them "possum on a half shell".

Armadillos are pretty common in our state, but I'm always excited to see them. 

During our Valentine's weekend getaway, there were at least three that crossed our path.

Each were out for a snack and completely ignored our presence.  I think they are cute!
