Purple Podded Pole Beans
Aren't they pretty?!
I had no idea how much we would enjoy them! Pollinators are loving these lovely flowers.
This has been my first year growing Purple Podded Pole Beans, but it won't be my last.
Seeds were purchased from Seed Savers Exchange. We are getting prolific production of stringless beans. At first, it was just a small handful, so the beans were chopped and added to salads for a nice crunch and beautiful color.
Now we are harvesting a nice colander full every few days. Once cooked, the beans turn green, which is a little disappointing. They are still delicious though.
Our okra is getting fired up, too!
